When asked my heart's desire for the body of Christ I had to respond that I want to see the people of God grow from the sound doctrines of Jesus Christ. Believers have to grow to know the Holy Spirit as a divine person. I find often that believers are seeking a word from God, but through the voice of Christians that want to operate like Old Testament prophets. According to Hebrews 1:1-3 God spoke in various ways to our fathers through the prophets, but in these last days He speaks to us by His Son, Jesus Christ. He yet speaks prophetically through His written word. He is the word of God. He is God's beloved Son in whom God is well pleased. Hear Him! Matt. 17:5.
